Thee other night me & my boyfriend and our friends went camping and got drunk. My boyfriend got quite drunk and finished with me :( we've been going out for four months, it hasent been perfect but we decided we will try & make it perfect a few weeks ago. Since then I've opend up to him and fell so much more in love with him. I have never been happier, but the other night just ruined it! He was saying 'weve tried so hard but it isn't working. It isn't perfect.' I said to him I love him and he kept saying 'i wish I could believe that'. I don't know what got into him. Is it him or just the drink? He said sorry & that he didn't mean it, I gave him another chance but I feel as if he doesn't love me. I don't want to break up with him I love him to bits. What should I do? :confused:

Never believe anything coming from a drunk. Surprised he even remembered what he said, or did.

Two drunks, make quite a couple, sorry but I know this is harsh, but relationships are hard to maintain when over using alcohol is involved, as it makes for easy excuses. And a lot of apologies.

There is no such thing as a perfect relationship, both parties involved can only make it work but there's no quarantees.

Sometimes when a person drunk it gives them courage to say or do things that they can't do when their sober. This is a red flag. Does he love you, yes, no, or maybe. Have his actions shown anything different because at this point I will view that more than his words.

Tell him you are pregnant andif he is happy then he does love you. If he says "oh $£%^" then he doesn't.

Maybe that's devious though!

I have to agree with Liz , just look for his actions and go with that , and like Tal says 2 Drunks can make quite a couple.

Guys are so weird like that.

I have been in your situation so I know how you feel. He might just feel very insecure, like he isn't good enough, or like you don't care.

Guys constantly play that testing game.

You will know deep in your heart, if this is worth it. If he is treating you right, and he seems into you, then he is.

No relationship is perfect, but guys tend to feel more insecure and emotional when they're drunk.

You really need to ask him, to be sure.

We don't know what kind of person he is.

What we do know for sure is, that if you keep getting drunk together, you can expect more episodes like this in the future.
