I am 8 months pregnant it's a girl . The father is a guy I had dated for a month. He is suicidal and talks about killing people (mostly his mom, his ex girlfriend, just pretty much anyone that has ever pissed him off). He smokes weed pretty much every day of his life. He has just recently dated a 14 year old girl when he is 22 years old, he never dates anyone over 18 except for me and his ex girlfriend that he is completely obsessed with. He has imaginary friends that he thinks are real and talks about them all the time. Only when he was extremely drunk he told me he made them up that he has reality confusion. When I first found out I was pregnant I told him about it. He was being very disturbed about it saying he was going to get his little sister to punch me in the stomach. So I told him not to worry about it that I was going to get an abortion. Which I went 3 times to do but ran out every time cause I couldn't bring myself to do it. About a month ago he found out I never had an abortion and now wants to be in her life. He told me he loves me and wants to be there for the baby. I told him the baby might not be his just so he'd leave me alone for the time being.but it only made him angry... He now says he wants her but he says he don't want me to be the mother.. before I made him mad he said he can't take care of her financially (I don't need him to). I would never feel comfortable with leaving him alone with the baby. I have things (blogs, bulletins, messages) saved he writes on myspace saying he's going to kill himself and other people and just stuff that proves he not right in the head. He has been to the hospital for trying to kill himself and was put on medication and stopped taking it He's only been in trouble once with the law for stealing. Is this enough proof for court that he isn't stable enough to be around a child alone? What do I need to do to make sure he isn't alone with her? I want to keep the baby. I am able to take care of her financially, physically, and mentally. Even if I were to want to put her up for adoption he wouldn't sign the papers cause he has always wanted a little girl (cause apparently one of his imaginary friends he met at a satanic church when he was 15 had sex with him and got pregnant with his child and miscarried and every since then he's been obsessed with having a little girl of his own but all this is made up he admitted it to me when he had a nervous breakdown). I know it was dumb to get pregnant with a crazy guys baby but it wasn't intended. It happened and I just want advise on what to do now.. I want to raise my baby on my own, safe from him. Is he allowed to see the baby till he takes legal action and a paternity test? What are Florida laws for this matter? Should I take action now or wait to see what he does? Cause I doubt he has enough money to take legal action he still lives with his mom and works at a fast food place :confused:

Document everything he has said and done. Print out his myspace threats.
You could leave him off the birth certificate to force him to go for a paternity test to buy time but that might just make him more threatening.
You keep saying he says he wants. It isn't or doesn't have to be about what he wants.
Force him to have to go through court for custody/visitation and tell the Judge all the things that scare you about him.
At least maybe the Judge will make him go for psychiatric evaluation before ruling on any visitations. At most hopefully he doesn't get anything more than supervised visits.
He can not just demand visits and make you feel obligated without a court order.
