How many times can one bankrupt?
10 yrs ago I had to file for bankruptcy. Due to a disablility I can no longer produce an income. I owe 345K mortgage 30yrs and 275k in annunity. I'm 55yrs old and worked hard as hell to get out of debt only to find myself back to square one because of my illness. Is there restrictions on how many times one can claim bankruptcy? This would be my third one? Help!

It's my understanding that there is no limit to the number of times a person can file; however, if the Court determines that piling up bills and then discharging them in bankruptcy is a pattern or way of life they can refuse to discharge the debts.
