    Monoflo Heating - re-routing pipe
Hey folks -- My father-in-law is spear-heading a small renovation that has us moving an old hydronic convector cabinet to an adjacent wall.

To do this, we will be cutting the existing pipe and creating a couple of bends to install it in its new location.

It is a "Mono-flow" system -- or so I have been told by a plumber.

Is there any concern with moving the convector with respect to Mono-flo? Will I be disrupting anything?

    Will I be disrupting anything?

Sure you will by disconnecting the unit. Re install it and bleed the system. If you do not know how you might seek the help of a ON SITE professional.

    OK, I understand bleeding it.

I mean, in regards to the "Mono-flo" aspect, will changing the flow plan disrupt how the Mono-flo works?

Not if it is done correctly. If you do not know what you are doing move the unit and have a pro pipe it up.

A little too late for that.

Pipes have been moved. There's no stopping a determined father-in-law.
