My honda civic has a mind of its own! I have noticed that when it gets hot out side the fuel pump want kick on,I can turn the key in the ignition like a hundred times until the fuel pump will come on. But it only happens when its hot outside but if its at night or cool outside it turns on just fine. Any suggestions?

Replace the main relay, which is located left of the fuse box, wedged against the left kick panel and above the hood latch. Remove fuse box cover and lower dash panel for access.

This is a common problem on Hondas. It has to do with cold solder joints developing on the printed circuit board.
