What is the program, and what does the pop up say?
If it's some informational pop up, then there should be some sort of an option on the program itself that has "do not do popup on startup..."
If it's a program that you just don't want to start up when you start the comp, then I'm sure you can also disable that as well
How do I disable pop up on boot up?
What is it telling you, that you have installed a new program?
If so, it will stop all by itself after a few days.
There are ways to disable the balloon pop ups, but if you do this, it disables ALL the balloon pop ups, and some of them could be important.
If you really want to know how to get rid of ALL of them, let me know what op system you are using, I may be able to help you.
First of all... I'm not sure I deserve a "disagree" for that.
You haven't specified what program it is... what the pop up actually says, or anything. How do you expect any of us to help you?
