So you restored your settings to when before you used tcp optimizer and now still slower than when you used it in the first place?

    Besides above,
Any changes that either happened or that you perhaps made to your computer around the time that the problem started; particularly any software or hardware that you installed or setup

What you can do is use system restore to go back to when before tcp optimizer was
    Installed

Let's say you installed and used it today

Click start, programs, accessories, system tools, and system restore
Now pick a dateand time before the time you installed tcp optimizer and click next to restore your settings to that time

This should bring you back to settings as they were before installing tcp ooptimizer

Not anything you can do with dial up, when I used dial up, I tried all sorts of optimizing software and no matter what you do, still limited to the 56kb that modem provides

What might help is to make sure you only have the line from the wall to your modem and not split to a phone or anything, I remember my download speed was from 7-9kbs and to download anything "big" 100mb or so, I would have to let it download while I was sleeping and then wait for the next night to get another one as not to tie up the phone during the day

If poosible, see if your phone Co has a dsl service and what the rates are, usually about $30-35 mnth
