I have a project that requires 4 trap primers. I need instructions on how to run them. I have purched one valve and a distrbution unit with 4 leads.
Basic rule of thumb -- A trap primer feed must rise up vertically a minimum of six inches above al branch before dropping back down vertically to feed the trap priming metering valve;
This is to prevent debris in the line from clogging the orifice of the metering valve.
Interestingly enough, I took some photos of just such an installation only yesterday, but the camera is locked up onsite in the JobBox.
As for the distribution unit, the key to installing one is to make sure the unit is perfectly plumb, otherwise the unit will not distribute the water evenly.
Are those traps under slab (floor drains) or exposed ( as in sinks)?
