Can't remove eschucheon from stem on bottom mount faucet
Please help. I have most of a bottom mounted faucet deinstalled but I can't figure out how to remove the handles to get to the eschucheon. I've tried pulling, unscrewing, there are no screws visible and it's all one piece. Since the faucet is old and doesn't work properly (I'm throwing it away) can I cut the stem pipe (looks like it's copper)? If so, which tool should I use?

Do you know the brand of valve you have? Many companies do a great job of hiding their mounting screws sometimes under a plastic logo plate or design. If this unit is going in the trash you probably can gut the stem as flush as you can to the escutcheon, make sure your main is closed just to be safe.

Use hack saw with 32 teeth blade. Cut as per Ballengerb1

I have the same issue with an undermount faucet. I can't see how to remove the handles and there doesn't appear to be anything underneath that helps. Should I just pry this thing off?
