I erased my sound max and now I have no sound coming from my computer. Now when I restart it, it says new hardware found but when I try to install it says that it can not be found. When I go to systems and device mgr. it is a yellow question mark by multimedia, what do I do?

Try this,

Right click on device that has yellow mark and choose uninstall
Close all windows and then restart computer

On start, windows should find audio device and install some drivers
Once back in windows, check device mgr again to see if yellow mark returns, if not check sound

If that dows not help the drivers for the sound max card would have to be downloaded form the mfg website and installed
