    Remodeling bathroom faucets
I am changing all of my bathroom faucets and the shower from polished brass to brushed nickel. I have about a 13 year old Kohler shower head and single handle knob. The model # is K15140. I called Kohler and they said they had nothing in brushed nickel to replace the fixture. It is know problem to replace the shower head, but my plumber said I would need to replace the valve in the knob since I can't find a match. It is one of those models that you pull up the acrylic knob and then turn either left or right for hot and cold. Replacing the valve will be quite costly as the shower is all marble and they will have to go in through the sheet rock in the back ( and there are two of them in different walls!). Got any ideas? I was thinking about having the back plate electroplated because the shower works fine.

    Thanks!

    KISS
I think the electroplate idea is workable. There is at least one place on the net that offers the service for decorative finishes such as this one: Metal finishing in Brass, Copper, Chrome, Other

This isn't the one I had in mind.
