My 2 1/2 year old son doesn't talk yet, is he autistic?

You need to get your child evaluated. Contact your pediatrician for a referral

Well, I'm a mom of an autistic 5 year old girl. She is smart and started school in August. We got her evaluated last year. She is fine, but just a little bit more special! Autism isn't a road block, just a different path! You should get your child evaluated. Some kids are just a little slower than others. I also have a 3 year old son that I have been trying to potty train. All the other children have been potty trained by two, and our son is not having it! So, just because your child is slow at something doesn't necessarily mean bad! Hope this helps! A pediatrician will know what to do!
