Our 10-month old boxer was neutered 4 days ago. Today, he bled a little from one of his stitches and the wound is now emitting a clear fluid pretty steadily. Both of the local vets are out of town on vacation--is there anything we can do until they return, and anything we should look for?

The clear liquid is a good sign there is no infection. That is called serous liquid. If there were green puss, yellow matter then worry. But don't get all excited, he will be okay as long as the signs are good for healing.
