    Help With Abs
Hello, I am 6 feet tall and weigh 152 pounds. I don't have a belly, but I do feel like I have a slight layer of fat over my abdominal section. I'm wondering if this is just unworked abs? I've been doing 2 sesions of 20 sit ups 5 times a week, so far for 2 weeks, and so far no results. My abs don't hurt at all, am I not doing enough reps? Is there something I should improve in my workout? And how long will it take to get them not well defined, but at least visible?

    Thank you

2 sessions of 20 situps will get you nowhere. Remember: No pain no gain.

    Try this abs workout:

Yeah... and you should be feeling some ache if you're working them hard. There are crunch machines in the gym that can let you add weight resistance or free weights on chest. Also your stomach has different regions that need different excercises to stim.

Floor or hanging leg lifts can stim the lower abs, twisting can pull in the obliques... the "bicycle" movement is great... stim all the muscles... crunches stim the upper... but you need to focus on carefully, strongly squeezing the muscle, not just doing the movement in good form... side situps for obliques... using an incline bench can also help

So id at least do hanging or laying leg lifts to get lower abs and add some twisting situps or crunches. And again, when you sit up make sure you are squeezing the muscles.

And 2 weeks might not make a lot of difference in looks.

I have stubborn fat on my tummy and I'm working out from home. I concur NO PAIN, NO GAIN.. I'm doing crunchies 300 reps 3-4 times a day and also I use the billy blanks work out... When doing crunches makes sure you back is always off the ground and your abs are contracted at all times to give you a really effective work out...

Sit ups are good. I also felt that I needed help with my abs. Let me tell you my experience. I work with a ab chair that I got few months ago. I work on this machine 30 min/day. I feel it good because I'm able to do sit-
Ups and crunches pain-free and with ease.

    Hope it helps you
