I have these disgusting brown stains due to hard water in my pipes. I find it very difficult to remove these stains with regular toilet cleaners. Does anyone have any suggestions that I can use?

While it may be your water it could also be rust from your pipes. Buy a bottle of Whink at a hardware store and see if it makes the stain disappear in moments, if so the stain is rust.
