    Folder option
    Hi,
    In the folder options when I select 'Show hidden file & folders' then clicked on apply & Ok, It again automatically goes to 'Don not show hidden files & folders'.
    I scan my PC by norton anti virus , macoffe and PC cilline but there is no virus.

    It can be virus infected.

    try to change in Registry .

    HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Exp lorer\Advanced\Folder\Hidden\SHOWALL

    Modify the value data to 1

    try it.

    If can't change , It sure will be virus.

    Regards,
    ABB

    anyone's still having trouble, here's a fix that worked for me after I got the RavMon virus:

    1. Click “Start” -> “Run…” (or press Windows key + R)
    2. Type “regedit” and click “Ok”.
    3. Find the key: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\Curr entVersion\Explorer\Advanced\Folder\Hidden\SHOWALL
    4. Look at the “CheckedValue” key… This should be a DWORD key. If it isn't, delete the key.
    5. Create a new key called “CheckedValue” as a DWORD (hexadecimal) with a value of 1.
    6. The “Show hidden files & folders” check box should now work normally. Enjoy!
