Pain and brown blood during sex
My boyfriend and I have been together for just over a year now and starting about 6 months ago, every so often during sex I will bleed, but it's old, brown period-looking blood. It's not because of lack of lubrication, it's like he bumps my uterus or something because I can feel when he does and it hurts, sort of like a cramp. Sometimes if he accidentally "bumps" me I do start actually having cramps after which is weird because I don't even get cramps during my period.
It makes it uncomfortable to have sex in positions that come in direct contact with the area on the upper wall/where the g spot should be. I can usually tell even before we have sex whether I will probably bleed because I feel sort of swollen/bloated and tender like I'm about to start my period even though I'm nowhere near the time my period is supposed to start. I have been on Ortho Tricyclen Lo since I was 18 and I am 21 now. Also now my periods are different, the blood is the same old brown blood I see from the breakthrough bleeding, and there is almost no fresh looking blood at all during the whole period. What is going on? Is it my birth control? I feel like I'm not getting all the blood out during my period or something, what am I doing wrong? I'm healthy, not on anything but birth control, eat well, exercise lightly but regularly and yet my body is all kinds of screwy. I just don't get it.

I'm no expert, but I"ve got a book by experts that may help.

It says that bleeding after "sex" (sorry just shorter.) can be caused by rough sex, but its more likely an infection. Although taking aspirin, and birth control can cause bleeding too. Benign cervical polyps can bleed when touched during sex. And rarely bleeding can result form abnormal cell changes in the cervix, certain blood diseases or uterine cancer.

Don't douche before seeing your doctor as I highly recommend that you do. If I find any more I'll let you know. Take care for now.

it seems like the most I can find is that the birth control is affecting your hormons and causing you to "spot" at randome or irregular times. The pain maybe an infection or you're going to rough. But yeah, best to see a doc about this one, could be sierious if not looked into right away.

    Take care, eh.
