    Freezing bank accounts in america
    Hi There

My son and I are currently in litigation against each other in Scotland. I know that he has opened bank accounts with his girlfriend (an American) in the US. If I win expenses against him how will I be able to collect the money if all his liquidity is in a US bank? Any suggestions anybody?

I am not sure exactly the acceptance of a law suit in Scotland here in the US, you will need a US attorney, and they will have to present your judgement you win there to the court here to be accepted. If the court here honors it, then the court and issue a garnishment of that account.

Just not up on international law, but you will need an attorney in the US to work with your attorney there to present this to a US court
