I was confused because I did a ovulation test at 2pm Monday 14th and it was positive then did another test at 6pm the same day and it was negative?? Then did another ovulation test on Tuesday 15th at 2pm same time as on Monday and it was positive, was wondering why I got a positive then a negative then another positive??

Was the first test line as dark or darker than the control line? It could be you had a second surge of the lutenizing hormone. Once you get a definite positive, and they can be tricky to determine sometimes, figure ovulation will likely happen within the next few days. It can often help to check for other possible signs that ovulation is getting close... changes in cervical mucus and cervical position for example.
