    Things happened for a reason.
So I finally got pregnant after 8 years with my husband. Well first I lost some weight before my 25th birthday I was celebrating it in Vegas around that time I was very sexually active with my husband. I came back and felt very nauseas, my breast were in pain and I just felt different. I went to buy a pg test and it was negative. I went to the doctors to get on birth control and they told me I was PREGNANT. I couldn't believe it. So I was going to my regular appointments and to the machine, measuring I was about 5 week. Okay well I had some brown discharge then some pink I freaked out and went to the E.R. They said it was a threatened miscarriage. So I did the whole bed rest and everything, a week later I woke up for work and It was like a had a period very dark blood and clots. I went to my ob doctor and they couldn't see the heart beat so they sent me to get a second opinion they couldn't see one. Later that afternoon I started to bleed and pass large clots I blacked out and my husband called E.M.S. I am very upset. I feel like I did something wrong. What can I do to feel better about it and How soon can I start trying again.

I'm sorry to hear about your miscarriage. I know it isn't likely to bring any sense of relief, but they are not uncommon. In a miscarriage this early there is usually an issue of things not progressing or developing as they should and miscarriage becomes a natural function for this. It is very unlikely there was anything you could have done differently.

Give yourself time to heal emotionally and physically... if you have any friends or family members who have also gone through this, they can be a great source of support. Know that you and your husband may deal with it differently and in your own ways... that is OK.
How much time it takes to come to terms with the situation varies from person to person... some, while sad and disappointed, accept it was natures way of dealing with a pregnancy that was not going to take... for others it takes a bit more time to accept.

It is often suggested to wait a few cycles before trying again... partly to give yourself time, but also to be better able to determine when a future pregnancy takes place.
Some doctors will suggest to wait at least one cycle before trying... so it is partly up to you and how you and your husband are feeling. Your doctor will let you know what they are most comfortable with time wise. Wishing you well...
