    Repair error 1402
    When I try to repair office 2003 logged on as administrator I get error 1402 along with UNKNOWN\MSComctlLib.TabStrip.2\CLSlD.

    Check this link out for some info on workarounds even when working with 2003, check the info to see if any may apply to your situation
    You receive an "Error 1402. Could not open key" error message when you run Office 2000 Setup
