I just recently purchased a new PC. (dell inspiron, windows vista)when I was with msn.had a different PC, I was able to copy pics, cartoons etc, and paste it into an email.I am now with verizon and am no longer able to copy pics , cartoons etc. all I get is the printed words.is there a reason for this?is there a remedy for this?

Yes, there are 3 types of email: HTML, RTF and PLAIN TEXT.

Before, your email was set to RTF or HTML, meaning your email acted like web sites and would include picture info.

Your new computer / email client is configured to PLAIN TEXT only so now you can only see and send text, and probably working hyperlinks.

You'll need to go into the OPTIONS for your email client and hunt around for the mail setup and mail format settings and get it changed to RTF or HTML.

If you have an email client such as Outlook, you can access Verizon from there. If you want the IMAP server names that you need to set things up PM me.
