    Bangs are destroyed.
So I didn't like how my bangs looked when I got them trimmed on June 6th the night of Project Graduation by some hair dressers who worked at the Joe Hamer salon. My bangs were at a nice length but the bottoms were STRAIGHT not layered or anything which bugged me but I got over it.
Fast forward to late June, I'm house-sitting for my aunt and I found her haircutting box with scissors and razors and stuff. I decided to trim my bangs and try to layer them out myself. I have no hair cutting experience whatsoever.
I feel like a total idiot for doing this to myself. I hate my bangs right now. They're crooked, short, and ugly. I wish I could rewind time but I can't.
My first year of college starts at the end of August.
How can I help my bangs grow out longer and faster by the time middle August rolls around so I can have them trimmed at a salon, professionally??
    Please help :(
    I've heard that:
    -massaging your scalp every day
    -washing your hair upside down
-brushing your hair upside down/ leaving your hair air-dryed
    -brushing your hair a lot
-Mane N Tail shampoo and conditioner

Really helps the speed the growth of your hair.

In my personal experience, my bangs always grow faster than the rest of my hair, which is supposedly supposed to grow about 1/2 and inch per month and you have almost 2 months, so I think if you just relax your hair will look fine by college time. =]
Don't wash your hair everyday though, and try to not have a lot of heat on your hair. Also, eat healthy and your hair should grow healthier. I hope I helped a little bit.
    Good luck!

    Thanks!
Actually, I was researching around the web and some sources said that your hair grows faster in the summer time because of the heat rather than winter time?? I don't know if that's true. But that's what I've read.
And now that I think about it, I think my bangs grow faster than the rest of my hair too... hmmm, interesting.

There's no way you can make your hair grow faster honey. If it has not grown to the desired length by August then you can always scrape it back into a tiny quiff and pin it ;)

Honestly? All of those recommendations are complete lies. None will help you any.

The only way to truly make your hair grow faster is to get all of your vitamins, eat healthy, and drink lots of water.

Thought I'd post a picture to get a bit more feedback:

Last night I thought, what would happen if I were to get them trimmed to side swept bangs at a salon? Would they be too short? Should I continue to wait?

    Bump.
I want to know what anyone thinks if I were to get my current bangs trimmed. Would they look too short?

    How short?

I don't know. I just want someone (a professional!) to trim them so they're not straight and like a 5 year old cut them for me or something. I'm just afraid they'll be too short if they do trim them to be side swept bangs.
