    Notice of action letter
    What is a Notice of Action letter, my property is in pre-foreclosure? Thank you.

    A scary sounding name to try and scare you. It means they are planning on doing something, what did the letter say they were going to do?

    And/or your state may require specific notification before certain actions are done and this is just what it is called

    Thank you for answering.

    I just went to my court file. There was a note that a letter of Notification of Action was sent to the local news paper. I looked, however I couldn't find anything yet. This local paper comes on Thursday and Saturday.

    I seems that the court could not find me to be served with my foreclosure suit papers.

    Depnding on the area, certain legal notices have to posted in a public place. Generally this means the legal notices section of a local newspaper. Sounds like that letter is notificiation of that posting.
