    Another puppy food question
OK so I have another food question about my nine month old morkie(yorkie/Maltese)... ok so... he will pretty much eat any people food I give him... but sometimes he won't eat something's and I think its really weird... like today I cooked him a little bit of white rice let it cool down a bit then I gave it to him it was not hot at all when I gave it to him so it couldn't be that but he just picked at it and then just didn't want it so through it away... and a couple of weeks ago I let him have a peach.. you know out of thoes fruit cup things it took him like 3 minutes to eat him and that's not normal for him lol... and last.. and I think this is so funny.. but weird at the same time lol... about a couple weeks to a month agao I gave him a piece of my banana he took it out of my hand... put it down on the carpet and rolled aroubnd in it!! Lol I don't understand!. I just want to know why he's so weird about food like that... he rolls around on everything his boned and sometimes his hard food when he has it... idk if he just wants to play or what... so if you could answer thoes 2 questions that would really heplp me understand lol thanks ;)

I don't have a perfect answer for you, but I will tell you that my cat used to do the same thing. There was nothing I could do to get him to eat people food. He only liked crunchy cat food. When I would give him canned food, he would only accept pieces in gravy. Then he would lap up the gravy, lick the pieces of food, and leave them on the plate. They looked sucked dry.

I tried giving him salmon and all kinds of things, but he absolutely hated them. But if he saw a plate we had finished eating from, he would roll around on it until the remaining smells and food were all over him. He especially liked to rub his jaw and neck like that.

I think it has something to do with putting certain smells on him (some dogs do that with filthy things), but I don't know what the point of it is. I'm curious too! I remember finding something similar in a book, so I know there is an answer out there...
