    Lost toolbar
I lost some of my AOl tool bar such as "favorites" "search button" "Forward and back button"
Could it be a virus or a corrupt file?
    Thanks for any answers... Bobbie:)

Try right clicking on a BLANK spot of one of the remaining toolbars. With most windows programs this will give you a popup menu with all the available toolbars.

You probably just need to click on general (or something similar - sorry I don't use AOL)

Go to VIEW tab at your browser ( IE or FireFox )

    And then Go To TOOLSBARS

You can see all your toolbars in there.. If you want , you can check (tick) it . If you don't want , remove the check (tick )

    Regards,

I had this same problem. Go to the AOL Help page and click on the "Garbled Toolbar" box and it will lead you to the instructions on how to fix it. If you have 9.0 Optimized, there is a link in the instructions to download a toolbar fix. I saved it to my desktop, closed AOL, then ran the utility, and everything is back to how it was.
