    Class D assault
Is a Class D assault a felony? If so can it ever be expunged from your record?

Well here in Georgia ( USA) there is no class D assulat. So it will depend on where you live, what county, and if in the US what state.

I think that the judge will work with him if the judge is convinced that he has changed

OP has posted this before - it's in Maine, OP entered a guilty plea, guilty to a class D felony - "A person is guilty of assault if the person intentionally, knowingly, or recklessly causes bodily injury or offensive physical contact to another person. Title 17-A, 207, 1. Assault is usually a Class D crime." This was in exchange for a second charge which appears to have been domestic battery.

    Posts should be combined.

From Maine law: "Maine does not expunge (erase) criminal records"
