    Clogged Drainage Line
My house was built in the early 60's. I have a small drain outside of our split level basement door. Never have had a problem before. Seems to be clogged with a lot of muck. I scraped out all that Was in the vertical areas. I tried plugging the hole and putting my power washer wand in, but that did not work. What else could I try? Do I need to rent a power rodder? I have done this before with my other clean outs (Heavy and a pain). Any chemical solutions?
    Thanks

Stay away from chemicals. They are not good for your sewer pipes. Go to Home Depot, rent 3/8" x 50' snake. Snake it several times. Insert garden hose, let run for few minutes at full blast. That should do.
