So my name jason and I made the biggest mistake in my love life. Okay so I was going out with this girl named rachel and I liked her a lot but then I started liking her friend kasey. I thought kasey liked me so I dumped rachel to be with kasey but it turned out kasey already went out with someone else :( I feel bad because all that flirting was for nothing and I still like her a lot but I can't change her mind on who she goes out and now all I think about is kasey. What should I do. I can't like any other girl but her. What should I do? Any help is needed :(

I am very surprised at the first few answers you received already, and hope you ignore them. I believe you've acted properly and things simply haven't worked out the way you wanted. Unfortunate, but at least you have good character.

Jason, you're not a bad guy. Don't listen to people who say that based on this story.

You dated Rachel, then found yourself attracted to Kasey and broke off with Rachel before officially pursuing the Rachel? Sorry, people, that is noble and correct behavior. He did the right thing exactly.

As for later finding out Kasey wasn't interested in you that way, well, you know that's the risk we take when we put ourselves out there to tell someone we like them. Don't stop doing it. Keep going out there.

As for Kasey, you can only do what you've done. You've told her you're interested and she is already got a b/f. So you move on while reminding her now and then that if things don't work out, you'd love to take her out some time. Period. No stress here at all.

Everything is all right!:) thanks to all who helped with the last entry by me. Well everything worked out because kasey dumped her boyfriend and was feeling real sad so as a friend I told her everything will be all right and she kissed me and asked me out but I knew she was vulnerable so I told her that if it was okay if I gave her an answer when she felt better. 2 days later she asked me again and I said yes. Since then our relationship has been getting better. I would also like to thank JB for the advice he gave me which worked out great. :)
