Ac unit comes on but compressor kicks off after running just a few minutes hit reset button it came on but the fan is not spinning?

Sounds like you have a bad capacitor or fan motor. When the compressor is running can you spin the fan to get it running? If so it is probably the capacitor.

Easy does it. Use a thin stick for this test. You do not want your fingers in there just in case it takes off.

If that fails more than likely you need a motor.
