I am looking for my father's biological mother, father, siblings if any, any family. All I know is that he was adopted at the age of 2 yrs. Out of an agency in Chicago IL and his birth date is Dec 21, 1960. Please any information on how to peace this big mystery together would be helpful and greatly appreciated. My children were born with medical conditions and I would really love to know if it could have come from my background or just solely their fathers' side. My daughter is related to Billy the kid from her father and I would love to know if I have any interesting relatives as well.

If you know the name of the adoption agency, you can TRY contacting them, but you will probably get nowhere.

Many times, ONLY the adoptee or the birthparents can initiate a search with the adoption agency, and oftentimes they are the only people who can leave contact information with a courthouse as well.

Your father's adoption was a closed adoption, and closed adoptions are very hard to open. You may have a case if your children's medical problems are genetic and you NEED to contact them for information, but many times the best way is to look through adoption websites that have search/reunion lists.
