    Can't get fan to come on in cooling mode.new stat
    Trying to help my son. He has a Bryant split system a/c unit. Replacing old stat with HW - RTH221b. Can't get the fan to come on in cooling mode, but it will in heating mode. Bryant model563cn-036e

    Assuming the old thermostat worked and the new one doesn't, you (your son) either wired the stat improperly or it isn't compatible with the hvac system. Does the fan come on if the stat is switched to fan on, rather than fan auto?
