    Custody over a newborn
I'm 8 months pregnant with my little boy Matteo, his father is in the military and is demanding full custody already. We are not together and we were never married. Could he take my child from me?

No, not unless you are an unfit mother. He can threaten all he wants and if he keeps threatening you, offer to have him arrested for harassment.

He will be entitled to visitation so you should go to Court, establish paternity, ask for support - and he will ask for visitation (or custody, which he won't get) and then you can go on from there.

Uh He is only entitled to visitation if he is deemed to be the father via court, you put him on the birth certificate (BC) , or he voluntarily is placed on there (signs the birth cert or form). If you don't want/ need support leave him off the BC. How ever if you think you are going to need financial assistance from the gov't many states require a suit against the father first... Check with your localities rules but if you can afford it leave him off.
