New well pump.still not supplying the house with water
We were having problems with our well pump supplying very little water to our house. (About a gallon to three gallons every 20 minutes or so, then nothing) So we replaced the old 3/4 HP submersible pump with a brand new one. Now the water doesn't even reach the pressure switch.(NO water coming through the faucets) It is a new pump, there is water in the well, and no leaks in the water pipes. What could the problem be?

Assuming you are sure the pump is coming on, then are you sure you have water up to the level of the pump?

Yes the pump is running and I can hear and feel the water coming through the pipe running to the house, but the water doesn't seem to be reaching the pressure swtich or the gauge and tank under the house. The pump is submerged in water and is about four inches of the bottom of the well. Thanks in advance for all your help. I need water guys and my husband has given up. Any and all advice is greatly appreciated.

SR, if you have no pressure then your pump should be running constantly. Is that the case?

How deep is this well? Does it have a check valve? If the pump is 4" off the bottom of the well could it be in the mud? Could what you are feeling just be vibration of the pump and not water in the pipe? If the pump is pumping water its got to come out somewhere.
