    Right OK I have just started to learn how to canter but every time my instructor says your going to do some cantering now I try and make up and excuse but next week I have to do it and I get so scared so I hold my breath and then the horse slows down WHAT DO I DO? HELP!!

    Relax take a deep breath and go with the horse. Holding your breath makes you tense,the horse can sense this. So trust your horse and go with him. You will soon enjoy it. Trust me . Also time will also help so no more excuses do it every week and enjoy it. Remember don't tense up!

    Just relax and trust your horse. Once you do it I'm sure u'll love it. I was a little afraid at first to and I love it now!
