    Fire Damage/California
As a Landlord do I have the right to evict a tenant after causing a fire and damage to my property?

Month to month or lease? With month to month you can evict anyone for anything with proper notice -

If the damage is extensive, such that the unit isn't habitable, you can probably also cancel the contract.

If there is no lease you can always evict someone, if there is a lease most have a clause about eviction for certain activities. So in most yes you can for physcial damage, and/or you can charge them for the repairs, and if they don't pay evict for non payment.
