    Cryonics or fake ?
Is it cryonic based on science or parascience ?

    Dark but not Heartless
I think it's real, but they don't freeze entire bodies, just certain organs and fluids

Cryonics is actually based on human science, although there are some detractors naturally. In order for you to read the theory yourself, visit this website:

First of all, permission has to be given by the person before hand and the procedure costs thousands of dollars. A hospital just can't use this procedure and I think there is only one lab in Arizona that handles cryogenics and that's where Walt Disney body is kept.

If you read the article in wikipedia you will see that the procedure is not entirely proven to work yet.

To answer you first question, there is nothing 'para' about it.

The popular urban legend that Walt Disney was cryopreserved is false; he was cremated, and interred at Forest Lawn Memorial Park Cemetery.

That's great, ravana, glad you found that out !

But, coming from the time when Walt Disney passed away, it was reported in the news papers that he had paid for cryogenic preservation. So, I don't know, whatever. I think its great that he wanted this done and had hoped that some day it would be a possibility to cure his illness, I think it was cancer, not sure. At the time there was a lot of family argument that they wanted a traditional interrment for him. Maybe his family won the argument. Maybe some people lump it all in with the aliens in Rosswell.

A Famous Hitter is Frozen in Time
Since his death in 2002, baseball legend Ted Williams has been stored in a 10-foot-tall, stainless steel container at Alcor Life Extension Foundation in Arizona, the world's largest cryonics facility. His head is reportedly being stored in a separate container.

But the story doesn't end there. After his death, the famous slugger became embroiled in a rather bizarre custody battle. His daughter, Bobby-Jo Williams Ferrell, fought in court to get her father's body back so that she could have him cremated and his ashes sprinkled over the Florida Keys, which she claims was his wish. She accused her half-brother John-Henry Williams of wanting to preserve their father's body so that he could cash in on his famous DNA. But John Henry and his sister Claudia said they had signed a pact with their father in 2000 promising to have all of their remains frozen. The three siblings finally reached a settlement: Ted Williams was allowed to stay where he was, and John-Henry promised not to sell any of his father's DNA.

Bury it somewhere you think as safe! Or give it to someone you can trust in a coffin but you keep the key. You ask him/her to pass your coffin to their generations and when you come out again, you take your money!:D

I think that anyone would wish so. But, I a bank, (like if you give it to someone), its really difficult that you reobtain your money. Better buy something really expensive and sell it after your revival! Maybe it would be also an antique! :D
