Am I totally pathetic cause all my friends have been dating forever, I haven't ever done AANYTHING bad or anything at all with a guy. I just feel like it should be with the right one not some loser. Am I pathetic for not having a boyfriend? Be honest

I didn't start dating tell my third year in college. No you are perfectly normal some are late bloomers some are early bloomers. All it depends on is if you find the right boy and don't settle for anything less than someone who makes you feel happy.

Why you be pathetic for not dating just because everyone else is? Like the above poster said, "Only date when you find someone worthy of your time and feelings."

Not pathetic at all, and your not desperate enough to fall for anything either, and that's a very good thing.

NOT PATHETIC! I am 16 as well. If you haven't found a decent guy yet, keep looking. Don't feel pressured by friends or society to date or "do things" with guys.

-you don't have to. Wait until you do something like that until its with somebody you love.
And don't compare yourself to friends

Don't be so down on yourself. You are a respectible, dignified women. You just lack a little self-confidence and self-esteem.

I think it's great that you aren't going to settle, wait until someone special comes along. Do you want to be like everyone else, just another sheep in the flock? Be yourself, you aren't doing what everyone else is and that's great, you are unique. Just so you know, most guys are looking for a girl like you, not just someone who runs after every boy that comes along. You'll find someone special, and that's what you deserve. :)

Just enjoy this time of being a kid still, you don't need someone by your side to help you live life. Everything will fall into place when you least expect it
