For my 15th I got my belly button pierced and now I'm just about to turn 16. My parents said I can get my nose pierced. I only want a tiny little plain stud. I also have one hole in each ear. I really want to get my nose done and I'm not emo or goth or anything, I just think its artistic and I'm more a kind of hippy/alternative but not fully. The thing is, I'm really aware of how people with piercings get judged and catergorised. I don't want people to think I'm cheap/emo/slut because I'd have belly, ears and nose. Do you think it is too much? Thanks.

No, I do not think its too much. Just remember; people will judge you no matter, so might as well be yourself. I'd like to regurgitate one of my favorite quotes as its fitting here: I'd rather be hated for who I am, than loved for what I am not. Think about it.

Also, if you are planning on getting a job I would rethink the nose piercing.

Hey thanks. I already have a job but its at an organic café and everyone who works there is really down to earth and hippy so I don't think it would be a problem. Thanks :)

Then good for you. I think you sound like you have a good head on your shoulders and are being responsible. Make sure to clear it with your boss though. Don't just assume they will be okay with it.

If it is something that you want and its OK with you parents and boss at work and you can have it at school I would say go a head and get it be yourself if its something you like also remember if later on you don't like it and take it out you are now going too have that scar on your face for life most likely and is that something that you would be OK with you are you and can only be you and life is short so have fun with it you are only young once have some fun with it while you can
