I have recently had my accounts frozen by a creditor I owed and have had a hearing scheduled to allow me to get some if not all the money they took back. Do I personally have to be there or can my huband show up for me? I am in nursing school and have an exam that day. Please help!!

Can you call and get it postponed or ask for any possibility of a make up test.
By law if you have to show up in court a job can not fire you so maybe the hearing would have some weight on tests too.
BUT you would have to show your court papers and discuss a make up test before hand.

If the judgment is against both of you, he could appear.
