    lost??
    Not getting attached
I've been seeing this girl for a little while now, its nothing serious but I think I mite be starting to have feelings for her. We both just got out of long relationships. Anyway the other day she told me that she didn't want a boyfirend and wanted to keep things the way they are with us right now, just seeing each other and all. Honestly I'm not sure what I want, sometimes I want a girlfriend again and sometimes I don't want to give up my freedom, I've kind of grown to like the single life. Anyway she likes me and we have fun together and I'm always making her laugh, but she said she just wanted things to stay the way they are. I thought about asking her out, she'd been dropping hints like "i only wanna be with you" etc until she made it clear what she wanted haha. I'm glad she said it though so I can know what to expect. Anyway, I was pretty bad after my last break up and I don't want to end up like that again. So my question is that is it possible to continue to see her and not let myself get attached/ develop feelings for her and how? We still want to see each other but id rather end it now then go back to the place where I was before. Thanks

There's no reason why the two of you can't be friends and spend time together with that understanding. Given the circumstances I think the two of you are being very wise to handle things in this manner. Maybe something else will eventually develop and maybe not but a good friend is always worth having.

I think S Cianci advice is well said. Take that advice and keep things the way they are, I always believe if its meant to be it will be. Good Luck
