Late 80's/early 90's kids TV programme
Hi ,I remember a children's programme that I watched in the late 80's /early 90's but I can't remember what the name was! It was about a young boy moving into an old house and there was a room in the house(which could only be reached by a ladder) where he found a little girl ghost. They became friends and he was trying to help her -there was also some connection to an old watch. This programme may have been Australian, I't just really annoying me that I can't remember the name! Thanks in advance!

I knew that the girl was called ellie, couldn't remember the boys name, can't find anything about it online, but remember it so clearly that the girl was in an old fashioned dress and the boy helped her discover her body and her spirit was at peace, but that a new girl befriended him who looked exactly like the ghost. Remember the girl swinging on a swing. I also reckon it prob was Australian. My partner thought I'd made this programme up, but I knew I hadn't and I thought it was brill. Wasn't there a wooden chest in that room as well?
