Exercise, that is safe for we do not know what limitations you have or even if your over weight.

Drinking lots of fluids, water is very important.

Eat less breads, more fruits and vegatbles. Leaner cut meats.

Walking and or swimming are really good.

The Atkins diet is good for people who have a high percentage of body fat and are really active whether physically or mentally. The theory behind it is that your body burns carbohydrates to keep you going, when you don't eat any carbohydrates, the body turns to fat stores for energy. This way your weight loss is 100% fat and not muscle or bone density (as is the issue with every other dieting method) You just have to stick to a diet of 85% meat or cheese until you've lost 25 pounds, then slowly start adding carbohydrates back into your diet. On the induction phase of the atkins diet, you can eat 20 grams of carbohydrates daily... and you may stay on this phase of the diet from anywhere between 2 weeks to one year. I also recommend that eat lots of radishes... as 5 radishes will give you only one gram of carbohydrate and are a good source of fiber... This means you can eat up to 100 radishes a day to keep yourself regular and prevent constipation which can slow down your weight loss. You must drink LOTS OF WATER!! Otherwise you won't lose any weight. I recommend sashimi for weight loss... When I eat sashimi I lose a pound a day... As opposed to .5 pounds a day when I eat any other food (I mean on the atkins diet of course) Also note that wasabi and pickled ginger have no carbohydrates in them!!
