Hi,
I have a Kenmore ceiling fan that's approx 8 years old and just recently the high setting stopped working, when I turn it on to what should be high it only works at the medium speed, the medium and low settings seem to be fine, but not the high setting. Could someone please give me some advice on what could be wrong with it and how I can fix it?

Is it a remote fan, or pullchains?

It is pullchains.

Probably the capacitor.

Not yet - I haven't had 5 minutes to take it apart, I'm hoping I will be able to get to it this weekend - wish me luck!
