    Rough in sink drain height
    I am remodeling the bathroom in the basemnent and would like to know what is the standard height for a sink drain rough in?

    In our area, 18" off the finish floor to center of the drain pipe is the accepted standard for a lavatory drain.

    You are not specifying what kind of sink you are trying to rough-in. If it is kitchen type sink ( 6" to 9" deep ), do as massplumber08 suggested. But if it is laundry sink ( 10" to 12" deep ) you need to set your rough-in lower.
