This table lamp was my mothers and I am trying to locate some info on the maker. It is a large urn type hand painted lamp. Marble base. Two socket pull chain. Very heavy! Any help appreicated.

My first impression would that it would be off Japanese origin. Are there any other markings such as names, letters or numbers on it?

I cannot find anymarkings anywhere on it. What struck me as unusual was the black marble base on it.
