Diagnosing and changing an old oxygen sensor
My car is very tricky about starting; sometimes it will, sometimes not. A friend said it is probably the O2 sensor; If I order the part myself, is it difficult to change as long as I have the correct socket? The part is $83.00 if I buy it myself and I was told to get a socket with a split; the only thing I can find that closely resembles this is an O2 Sensor socket set that comes in different sizes. How do I tell if it is the right socket for a 1992 Honda Civic, and once I get the old sensor off is it hard to put the new one on and attach it to the computer? Or does a 92 civic have a computer? Help.
