    Immigration interview
What would happen if I do not show up to an immigration interview in the usa?
I would like to cancel my case and get married to some one else should I not show up or should I cancel my case? I interview in on july16 and my divorce would be August 25

If you fail to show up at the interview, you will receive notice of denial in the mail 2 weeks later.
If you want to cancel this petition, you should send a letter to USCIS with case number on the subject ref, stating why you want to cancel.
If you choose not showing up at the interview, you will have hard time when you file a petition for the second time.

If you are getting a divorce, you should send a letter to USCIS notifying them that you want to withdraw the petition.

To request for reschedule means you are going to the interview with the same spouse, only on the different date.
