    Diversion test
So, if you drank a few beers the night before a drug/alcohol test, and possibly fail.. what is likely to happen if alcohol comes back positive?

If the conditions of your diversion program was that you abstain from alcohol, and you failed to do so, you will probably have the diversion options revoked and face the sentence that was originally set for the crime you committed.

Why would you do such a thing?

Well in Iran they may take you in the back and beat you and leave you in jail for several months, So where you are at could make a big difference.

In the US, it will depend on the PO and how many other tests you have failed and how for into the probation you are.

They could detain you and hold you for the judge to decide if your probation is going to be revolked and you sent to jail.
They could let you go but latter put a warrant for your arrest and hold you till a hearing. Or they could give you a date to report to court for a hearing. Or they could give you a speech about drinking and a warning and wait to see if it happens again. Just hope your PO did not have a fight with his wife, or have a bad day before you see him

Haha yeah, thankfully not in Iran. I have 2 months left from a 12 month diversion, never failed a drug test.
