Cutting Granite Table to Hold Kitchen Sink?
Hi! I'm doing a mini-kitchen remodel for a mini-kitchen on a mini-budget. I bought a great Kohler single basin cast iron sink, self-rimming, and I was thinking about paying a granite fabricator to cut a hole for my sink in a granite table I currently own. The table is 3 foot by 5 foot, giving me a deeper spot for the sink than the traditional 24" deep sink cabinets -- is this a crazy idea? Any input would be very appreciated!
    Thanks, Debbi

3 foot seems to deep to me but it depends on the whole lay out of the kitchen. How thick is the granite and how well is it supported? It may not be strong enough to hold the sink filled with water and dishes.
